The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight-round match which will be shown live on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the two fighters came face-to-face to build hype for next month's boxing match.
Ex two-time world boxing king Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami venue on December 19th.
"I'm going to injure his face and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to really want to cause him pain. That's my intention."
In spite of such comments, a composed Joshua and social media star Paul - typically known for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul instead criticized former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after the Cameroonian declined a bout proposal.
Joshua, at the same time, criticized UK rival Fury - and rejected a large bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he's present here," Joshua commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Despite declaring he will punish Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to speak negatively about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he stated.
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.
Still, the novice remains one of boxing's greatest money-making draws, consistently making substantial financial rewards.
The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in round four or five and asserted he would derail the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly under discussion for two years from now.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.
As the two fighters participated in the customary stare-down, with their size difference clearly visible, it highlighted just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the bout is actually happening.
